St. John Fisher College showcased excellence in the recent swimming championships held at Chandler, with Olivia Watson emerging as a standout athlete of the meet.
Adept in backstroke, Watson not only maintained her podium presence but also displayed versatility by excelling in multiple events for the College. Her outstanding abilities were evident in her triumphs in the 50m freestyle Div 1 and the 100m Div 1 backstroke. Her dominance in the 16 years 50m backstroke set the tone for the team's success.
Annelise Dudley and Dana Gardner further contributed to SJFC's impressive performance, securing commendable placements in their respective events. Dudley's strong swim in the 13 years 50m dash and Gardner's triumph in the 14 years 50m backstroke exemplified the talent at our college. Additionally, Eloise Dudley secured podium finishes with an impressive performance in the 100m breaststroke.
As the carnival concluded, St. John Fisher College placed third in the point score overall and a close 2nd in the Percentage Cup. Well done to all our swimmers!
