Twelve students from Year 10 travelled to the Gold Coast this week to participate in the eight annual Bond University High School Model United Nations (BUHMUN). More the 250 high school students attended in what is one of the most realistic Model United Nation events worldwide. The two-day conference encourages and inspires future diplomats and journalists, preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Student delegates discussed Sustainable Development Goals 10 and 13 to present solutions to reduce inequality and climate action respectively. The event encourages networking with students from other schools across Australia, collaboration, problem solving and leadership skills.
